What we do
Lead Wave is an AI search visibility agency in San Diego. We get local businesses named and recommended when customers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google's AI for the best option in their area. The work covers three areas: your Google Business Profile, your presence across the directories AI pulls from, and the structure of your own website.
01
Get found in AI answers
When someone asks an AI for the best local option, the engine doesn't search the web live the way Google does. It pulls from a mix of sources it already trusts — your Google Business Profile, the major directories, and the structured data on your site — and decides who's credible enough to name. Our job is to make your business legible and trustworthy across all of them.
That starts with NAP consistency: the same name, address, and phone everywhere online, character for character. "Suite 200" versus "Ste 200" counts as a mismatch, and mismatches are the most common reason AI skips a business entirely. We audit every listing, fix the variations, and lock the canonical version across the directories the engines actually read.
On your site, we add structured markup — schema that tells engines exactly what your business is, what services you offer, where you are, and what people say about you. We also build the entity signals: consistent descriptions, service pages written in the words customers use, and the connections that make an engine confident enough to put your name in an answer.
02
Build a review engine that runs itself
Reviews are one of the strongest signals AI uses to decide who to recommend — both the volume and how recent they are. Most local businesses leave them to chance and end up with a handful from years ago.
We set up automated review requests that go out after every completed job, timed to the moment a customer is happiest. Every review that comes in gets a response, drafted by AI and approved by you, because a high response rate is itself a trust signal the engines read.
The result is a steady, current stream of reviews that makes your profile look alive — and gives the engines fresh, specific language to draw on when they describe you in an answer.
03
Stop losing calls
A missed call at a home services business is often a four-figure job walking to a competitor. The customer wasn't browsing — they were ready to book, and the next business that picks up gets the work.
Missed-call text-back is included at no extra cost because everything else is wasted if the phone goes unanswered. When a call comes in and you miss it, the customer gets a text back in seconds — acknowledging them, asking how to help, and keeping them from dialing the next name on the list.
04
Wake up your old list
The cheapest revenue in any local business is the customer who already bought once. They know you, they trust you, and they've already forgotten you exist.
In month one we run a reactivation campaign across your existing customer list — a targeted outreach that brings back the people who went quiet. After that we keep a monthly nurture going so the list stays warm and the slow months don't get as slow.
05
The monthly visit
This is the part that makes Lead Wave different, and it gets real space because it's most of the value. Once a month, we show up at your business in person.
We bring your scorecard — the same ten questions, run across the same four platforms, showing exactly where you moved and where you didn't. We walk you through what changed in AI search for your industry that month, in plain language, and what it means for you.
Then we build one new thing into your business before we leave. A new review sequence, a new service page, a new reactivation angle — whatever the scorecard says will move your number most. You're not getting a dashboard login and a monthly email. You're getting a person, in your city, who knows your business and is actively working on it.
What's not included
We don't do paid ads, social media management, or web design. We don't guarantee rankings, because nobody controls what the engines return. And we don't work with businesses outside San Diego County — the in-person part is most of the value.
Find out where you stand. It's free.
We'll run the full audit on your business — ten questions, four AI platforms, forty data points — and show you who's winning the answers you should be getting. No charge, no pitch attached. You keep the report either way.
